Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and my recommendation is to take your sweetheart out to a nice, romantic dinner. It would be a great way to end a long work week, all the hard work you put into the WODs, just relax and enjoy each others company!! When eating out there are plenty of ways to fumble but there are plenty of things to do to insure you will be just fine. Here are a few tips to keep in mind before your next meal out. Try to choose restaurants with healthy options or flexible menus, eat a light snack before you go so you won’t arrive feeling ravenous, split your meal with your sweetheart and ask for extra veggies, ask for a togo box when your food comes and save it for a later time and if you will be ordering a dessert, choose a fresh fruit cup, sorbet, or frozen yogurt rather than a slice of cake or pie. Temptations will always be there but you guys are strong and can make good decision for yourself. Stay true and believe in yourself and great things will come!! I am proud of everyone of you guys for challenging your nutrition and each time you step foot in the gym! Keep up the great work guys!!
